bananabay docs

Overview

Product documentation for bananabay food, meals, schedule, task, and data workflows.

bananabay is a personal systems app for tracking food inventory, meal plans, routines, schedules, tasks, and the settings around those records.

The product is early. Treat it as a working tool for testing real workflows, not as a finished source of truth for health, safety, legal, financial, or emergency decisions.

Mobile app

The Android APK is available for early mobile testing. Use it for the current mobile workflow: Health Connect sleep reporting into bananabay.

Use the website for the full food, meal, schedule, task, settings, API key, export, and delete workflows.

What it helps with

  • keeping a household food inventory visible
  • recording food facts and inventory details in one place
  • planning meals from the inventory you already track
  • reporting supported mobile health data from Android
  • checking schedule and task state during the day
  • calling the account API from personal scripts
  • adjusting settings that shape food, meal, schedule, task, and weather behavior
  • exporting or deleting app-owned data from settings

What it does not do

  • replace product labels, professional advice, or independent judgment
  • guarantee nutrition, ingredient, allergen, expiration, or storage accuracy
  • act as a medical, nutritional, legal, financial, or safety system
  • preserve test data forever while the product is still changing

Read Getting started first. Use API access if you are calling bananabay from a script. Then use the workflow pages for the parts of the app you are testing.
